Hey everyone, I hope your week is going well. Just wanted to provide all of you with an update. Let me also apologize ahead of time for the picture. I clearly haven't shaved yet. 

The Good News! 

I am out of the hospital and back home. Had oral surgery to drain the 2cm X 2cm pocket of bacterial yuckiness that was accluding my airway (and obviously didn't want it getting directly in the blood stream). I'm currently on pain meds and just at the mercy of time to heal. 

Also, I'm ~Kind Of~ back at work. I've begun reaching out to Scopely employees I have a good working relationship with about the apology video the GM/Conor put out. Was it sincere? Was it empty platitudes? I'm going to find out. You DESERVE to know. 

The Bad News:

Currently, I'm still unable to speak. The stitches in my mouth will dissolve (hopefully) within a week. My goal would be to be able to stream Friday as well as resume making YouTube videos.

I know, I know, many of you have all expressed "take your time", but as the provider for my family I want to get back to work as quickly as possible. There is no P.T.O./worker's comp/etc for self employed folks. 

Even beyond the money aspect, I *WANT* to be back at work. I miss getting into Territory Battles with STFC Players . I miss our War Thunder streams with tanks, planes, and jumping on the USS Iowa. I love this community, I love the games we play, and more importantly I truly care for all of you and appreciate how many have reached out. 

Eli (our oldest) also has gotten sick. The good news is we got him into the doctor early and he is already on medication. Obviously we're hoping to avoid the severity of what I've been going through. But prayers for my son are something we're quite grateful for. 

Bills

At the moment, I don't have the ER visit, surgery, 2 hour ambulance ride, med costs, etc. Will be sharing that information once I have it. My insurance deductible is $6,500 (in network). I'll also have missed most of August's income. *To be clear*, I am owed no one's money/donations. It's very important to me that I earn it. I'm truly blessed to be here.
